My work sits between software engineering, machine learning and business.

I took a slightly indirect route here. I played academy football for a Welsh Premier League club and had youth trials with Cardiff City and Reading, before studying Business Management at Imperial College London and eventually moving into software engineering.

I still write code, design systems and stay close to the engineering details.

I like working from first principles, whether that means reading old AI papers, building small implementations, or tracing production behaviour until I understand what is really happening.
